Position overview:
We are looking for an experienced Database Engineer (5+ years experience) to join our client, Japan’s leading e-commerce and technology company. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a globally recognized company at the forefront of digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capacity Planning: Analyze and forecast database requirements to ensure optimal performance.
- Reporting: Create and maintain detailed reports on database performance and health.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor database operations to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
- Tuning: Optimize database performance through memory and query tuning.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with MySQL and MariaDB operation monitoring.
- Proven ability in DB memory tuning for optimal performance.
- Bilingual in Japanese (N3 level) and English (Business level).
