A globally recognized leader in the automotive industry is seeking a talented Infrastructure (Middleware) System Engineer to join its digital transformation journey. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and operating middleware infrastructure that powers enterprise-scale platforms like SAP S/4HANA.

You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team that bridges traditional IT systems with modern, cloud-enabled platforms—ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Build Middleware Infrastructure
• Architect robust middleware platforms for large-scale systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) with a focus on performance and security.
• Operations & Maintenance
• Manage and troubleshoot middleware systems in production environments, ensuring seamless integration and uptime.
• DX Project Support
• Provide infrastructure expertise for digital transformation projects, including SAP S/4HANA rollouts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with domestic and international teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project success.
• Technical Leadership
• Act as a subject matter expert in middleware technologies and lead efforts in monitoring, tuning, and upgrading systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong background in SAP Basis, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems.
• Proven experience in middleware/infrastructure design and operations.
• Hands-on involvement in DX projects, ideally in large-scale enterprise settings.
• Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English.
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud and cloud-based middleware architecture.

Project Exposure

• Direct involvement in high-impact DX initiatives like SAP S/4HANA (e.g., TOPPAKO).
