    Job Summary

    A leading figure in the insurance industry, is currently on a journey to migrate their systems to Azure. To support this significant transformation, they are expanding and seeking a SRE Lead.
    This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between their operations in Japan and the offshore team in India, ensuring seamless communication and project delivery.


    • Support the team with troubleshooting, logging, and analysis.
    • Drive and manage a team of 6-7 SRE members offshore; must be able to direct others, push progress across the team, plan maintenance, prioritize incident inquiries, etc.
    • Bridge between offshore teams and multiple application development / operations teams

    What they are looking for:

    • Application Support Experience: Experience in troubleshooting critical issues in large-scale applications, prioritizing incident inquiries based on their business impact, and maintaining high levels of operational excellence.
    • ITSM Knowledge: A solid understanding of IT Service Management principles and practices.
    • Technical Proficiency: Strong foundation in Kubernetes authentication, containerization, and 401 HTTP authorization. Familiarity with network/cloud infrastructure and a theoretical understanding of cloud-based application architecture.
    • Language Skills: Bilingual capabilities are essential for this role. Minimum JLPT N3
