    Our department is shaping the digital designs for multiple interaction and engagement points with people. From visual design to UIUX, this team enhanced the content, interaction, and visuals for people to create an immersive, creative, and unique experience. This department is under the global digital technology team that sits in the United States.

    As UXUI Designer, you will work with local and global teams to enhance the experience a user would go through when interacting with the company’s mobile and web applications. You will help create not only a user-centric design, but also a design that encompasses the company’s brand, its stories, and its vision.

    This position will require candidate to be in Osaka, Japan. However, we are open to candidate who wishes to be based in other areas of Japan.


    • Lead the holistic view of the product across integration (customer and technical) points to provide a superior, seamless experience from daily execution to longer-term strategies. Strong domain knowledge in marketing, analysis, personalization and engagement across digital channels.
    • Synthesize product design and consumer trends to recommend clear, specific solutions using a Global Design System, to meet consumer needs. Execute and provide design artifacts that support UXUI best practices across integration (customer and technical) points to provide a superior, seamless experience from daily improvements to longer-term strategies
    • Work closely with business, design, product and IT leaders as a point of contact for specific design initiatives.
    • Lead content design functions, collaborating with partners across the company to understand the needs of our teams, our audiences and implement design solutions to best serve those needs.
    • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience with UXUI design for mobile, web, and responsive web products. These products should be B2C products.
    • Experience designing and working with Figma. Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite would be a plus.
    • Bilingual with at least Business level proficiency
    • Experience with usability design (researching, writing test cases, performing tests, writing consumable summaries, ability to synthesize research into deliverables)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous experience working with Global Design Systems (GDS) or any brand libraries.
    • Done usability testing and research, supported by a global system
    • Experience working in a very cross-functional, collaborative team environment
    • Worked with other Japanese vendors for any creative projects
    • Any team leadership or management experience
